MSR Summer school

July 2-4, 2017, Lecco (Como Lake), Italy

Presentations, lecture videos and the announcement of the Best Poster Prize, won by Delphine Gerardin, are now available!

SAMOFAR is a European research project funded by the European Commission focusing on the safety assessment of the Molten Salt Fast Reactor and aims at educating as much students as possible. To this purpose we organized an MSR summer school with focus on the scientific fundamentals of fluid fuel reactors. This school was held at the premises of POLIMI along the Como lake in Italy from 2-4 July, 2017.
86 master students, PhD students and young professionals in the Thorium-MSR field from all over the world participated.

The jury of the MSR Summer School awarded the Best Poster Prize to Delphine GERARDIN for her poster entitled ‘Design and safety studies of the MSFR draining system‘.
